Kirk Hill is a Grade II Listed refined residential transformation by Studio RDN-X, conceived as an exercise in restraint, precision, and spatial clarity. The project reimagines a private home through a carefully calibrated architectural and interior strategy, elevating everyday living through proportion, materiality, and light.
The design approach centred on the orchestration of space rather than overt gesture. Existing constraints were resolved through subtle reconfiguration, allowing rooms to unfold with ease and intention. Circulation was simplified, storage was embedded, and bespoke architectural elements were introduced to create a sense of calm continuity throughout the home.
Material selection and detailing were treated as architectural devices in their own right. A restrained palette, layered textures, and crafted joinery establish a quiet luxury that reveals itself over time. Wellness and comfort were integral to the brief, informing both the spatial layout and the atmosphere of the interiors.
Kirk Hill embodies Studio RDN-X’s residential philosophy: elegant, measured, and enduring — architecture designed to be lived in, not merely observed.
