Architect. ARB + RIBA registered. Director of Studio RDN-X, London.
At Studio rdn-x, we epitomise the fusion of creativity, technical expertise and cultural intelligence.
Founded and directed by Renata Dickson-Nwosu, we are a multidisciplinary design practice operating at the intersection of architecture, interior architecture, strategy and systems thinking. Our work spans high-end residential transformations, cultural institutions, masterplanning, and the emerging spatial ecosystems of the future.
We are committed to design that is rigorous, considered and deeply contextual. Each project is shaped by a precise understanding of place, programme and the people it serves, producing environments that are not merely functional, but enduring and resonant.
Renata Dickson-Nwosu is a British-Nigerian architect and creative director with roots in fine art, fashion and spatial design.
Of Igbo and British heritage, she grew up in North London and trained at the University of Westminster and the Royal College of Art, graduating with a Master of Architecture and going on to qualify as an ARB and RIBA-registered architect. Her education was shaped by an early interest in the visual arts; she came to architecture through fine art and fashion design, disciplines that continue to inform her spatial sensibility and approach to material culture.
Her built work includes the Kirk Hill residential transformation in Nottingham (a Grade II listed property reimagined through careful reconfiguration, bespoke joinery and crafted interiors), as well as a Penthouse in Abuja, Nigeria, designed with attention to climate, culture and luxury. Both projects reflect her commitment to architecture that is quietly exceptional.
Renata is also a recognised advocate for equity and access within the architectural profession. She has championed the Part III qualification route at the University of Westminster, works across the PAM (Professional Architect Mentoring) ecosystem, and founded Musings Behind The Creative, a podcast platform exploring the minds and methodologies shaping architecture, design and the wider creative industries.
